Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising residents, cabin owners and travelers in the area of

• • Goose Pond, located near Howley in western Newfoundland,

that through the normal operation of the Hinds Lake Generating Facility, there may be an increase in water flow downstream of the Goose Pond dam from December 30th through March 2023.

The public is advised to use caution when in the vicinity of Goose Pond and Little Goose Pond and connected waterways.
