Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is advising customers in Happy Valley Goose Bay that line crews will be in the area to complete maintenance activities between 10:00am and 4:00pm, tomorrow, May 31, 2023.

While line crews are completing repairs on the lines, the community will be supplied by back-up generation from the Happy Valley Gas Turbine. While demand is forecasted to be low during this time, we are asking customers to please conserve energy during this time. While we don’t expect any interruption of power, if the load on the system increases before the work is completed, there is a risk that some customers could lose power briefly.
