UPDATE Planned Power Outage Advisory: HVGB (Tuesday, Feb 16)

UPDATE:

The planned power interruption for parts of Happy Valley-Goose Bay tentatively scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb 17 has been rescheduled to take place on Tuesday, Feb 16, starting at 2:30 pm due to weather warnings for the region on Wednesday. Again, this work depends on weather conditions and we will update accordingly.  Thank you for your patience.

Adam’s Loop, Bird St, Campbell St, Deharving Dr (#1 and #3), Ford St, Groves St, Ikey St, Kelland Dr,  Learning St, Lethbridge St, Martin Cres, Mesher St, Michelin St, Mitchell St, Pottle St, Rendell Cres, Tooktashina St, White Cres (odd #’s 1 to 35), Windsor Dr (Odd #’s 75 to 91) and the Mealy Mountain School

Hydro will closely monitor load demands, and if capacity constraints are expected, the following customers may experience a power outage beginning anytime between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Customers potentially affected:

Spruce Park, Thompson Dr, ValleyView Dr, Hale St, Edmunds Cres, St Laurent (#23-35), Mealy Mtn Rd and Barrett St.

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (Hydro) wishes to advise that the planned power interruption in Happy Valley-Goose Bay tomorrow has been postponed due to the extreme cold weather warning forecast for the region. The outage is now tentatively scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb 17, starting at 2:30 pm.

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro wishes to advise customers of a planned power interruption this Sunday morning (February 14) affecting parts of Happy Valley – Goose Bay.

This outage, which is estimated to take place from 6 a.m to noon, is to make necessary repairs at the HVGB terminal station.
