2023 Family Scholarship Program Application Form

At Hydro we believe in using our energy for good, contributing to a better future in our communities and province. Our Family Scholarship Program is just one way we show this commitment, by supporting the children of our employees as they pursue post-secondary education.

For 2023, our Family Scholarship Program will award up to 17 $1,000 scholarships including:

The Bright Futures Scholarship

These scholarships are open to children of term or permanent employees.

The Jennifer Snow Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to children of term or permanent Churchill Falls employees and/or any student who graduated from Eric G. Lambert School in Churchill Falls.

The Rick Leggo Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to children of term or permanent employees. This scholarship was established in 2018 by the family of long-time Hydro employee and friend, Rick Leggo, in honour of his memory as a caring mentor and someone who generously gave back to others.

The Steve Power Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to children of term or permanent Churchill Falls employees and/or any student who graduated from Eric G. Lambert School in Churchill Falls. Formed by his family, this scholarship was established in memory of long-time employee and former Eric G. Lambert School Principal, Steve Power, in honour of his memory as an educator, contributing member of the community and advocate for lifelong learning.

The application deadline is Friday, September 8, 2023.
